Fertility & Pre-Conception Support
This stage is all about creating space — physically, emotionally, and energetically — for your body to thrive.
Through gentle mobility work, breath training, and restorative movement, we help balance your nervous system and improve circulation to the pelvic area, supporting hormone health and natural cycles.
Whether you’re preparing for conception or simply reconnecting to your body, these sessions focus on grounding, awareness, and restoring balance in your body.
Prenatal Movement & Mobility
Every pregnancy is unique — and so is your body’s journey.
My prenatal sessions help you move safely and confidently, ease common aches and tension, and prepare your body for labour and postpartum recovery.
We focus on:
- Breathing for better pressure management and pelvic health
- Gentle mobility to ease tight hips, ribs, and shoulders
- Postural awareness to support your changing body
-Nervous system down-training to reduce stress
These sessions are designed to help you feel strong, calm, and connected throughout your pregnancy.
Postnatal Recovery & Rebuilding
Postpartum healing takes time — and intentional movement can make all the difference.
My postnatal sessions combine restorative breathing, gentle strengthening, and pelvic floor–focused work to help you rebuild from the inside out.
Whether you’ve had a vaginal or C-section birth, we’ll work together on:
- Reconnecting to your breath and deep core
- Supporting diastasis recti recovery
- Building back strength safely
- Restoring confidence in movement
- Getting you back to Sport and Fitness!
There is a significant lack of awareness and specialized training for women to navigate the major changes their bodies undergo through life.
I believe it’s a disservice to all women not to be fully informed about women’s health topics and awareness of our own bodies!
Training and strengthening our bodies not only gives us the freedom of movement but also allows us to age well and support our hormonal health.

I currently offer private 1:1 prenatal and postnatal yoga sessions in person and on-line. I am also in the works of an upcoming online on-demand pre recorded trimester by trimester practice as you go classes!

About Melanie
With over a decade of teaching experience, I am more than just a yoga instructor—I’m a Pre and Postnatal Core Exercise Specialist (PCES) and a certified mobility specialist (FRCms). I’m a lifelong learner and a self-proclaimed movement nerd who could geek out about the body all day long, particularly pelvic floor, women’s health and managing your inner pressure!
As a mom to a feisty little girl and someone who has faced my own history of injuries, aches, pains, and complex surgical health challenges, I understand the journey to wellness on a deeply personal level.
