Day 6 – Target Internal and External Obliques with Twists

Nearly There.

Today we explore how to twist well, and target the front core instead of getting shoulders and back involved. 

Internal and External Obliques.

We’ve been connecting to our deep inner core, and twisting is a great way to target your internal and external obliques. We’ll also really focus our exhale breath with the twist for best effort.

Applying Twists to Lunges.

We will coordinate squeeze of the opposite sides of the front core to get the most effective twisting. Starting from seated and then working into a kneeling lunge and a full lunge position to add a little more challenge in maintaining the core engagement in the front of the body.
