If you&#8217;ve ever had a &#8216;charley horse&#8217; or sudden cramping pain in the leg or calf, it is certainly not enjoyable! No one knows exactly why they happen and there are a slew of things you can try, like eating more bananas for potassium. But sometimes these tips don&#8217;t help. Muscle cramps are muscle fatigue. Having a baby puts stress on your body in many different manner and forms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I found moving more and often, helps. Plus some specific stretch and strengthening techniques targeted at the calves.  Luckily, I did not have them frequently, but only a handful of times.
